I watched a Anthony Bourdain episode where he stopped by That's It Market and had a Huge Cubans Sandwich and Numerous Beers.

Since seeing that episode That's It Market has been on my Radar of To Do and Try!!!

So I find myself in the City on a Sunday night and I am Hungry!!!i

So That's it Market!!!  It's your night !! So I point my Whip and rolled to the Mission.

I arrived at the Mission at Midnight and That's It Market is a Brightly Lit Up Outpost in the Dark and Dank Mission.

I pull my Whip up to a Corner Parking Spot and get out looking around at my Surroundings, Situation Awareness a bad habit of mine. I run into 2 Ladies of the night standing a few feet away from my Whip and one Jokingly says Ill watch it for you! I replied how much? And she replied on the House Homie!!! Talk about Hospitality!! Lol !!

I rolled into Thats it Market and was impressed!!! It looked exactly like it did on TV when Anthony Bourdain visited years ago !! I'm in Heaven

Then I meet Maddie the Hostess and Cook with the Mostess!!! I peruse the Menu and ordered the Cuban Sammich Steak Milanese ala Anthony Bourdain !!!

Maddie asked me if I had a Cuban Sammich before?? I said yes and she laughed and said I hadn't yet!!! When I received the Cuban she was making me with love, that's when I will have eaten a Real one!!!

I grabbed one of the 3 Counter stools and watched Maddie assemble one of the Biggest Cuban Sammichs  I have ever seen !!!

The Bread looked like half of a Sourdough Loaf !!! Lol Maddie tosses a Breaded Steak on the Grill  , 4 Hotdogs, 3 Pieces of Bacon , Ham Slices , Chorizo and Scrambles a couple of Eggs . This is all for my Cuban Sammich !!!

Maddie also toasted my Bread on the grill after she hollowed some of the Bread Out. She then added Guacamole, Sour Cream , Peppers ,Queso Fresco , Mayonnaise and Sliced Carrots.

When the Meat was done, Maddie neatly Stacked all the Meat on the Buns then wrapped the Cuban Sammich up before she cut it in half!!! And presented it to me !!!

It was one of the Biggest Cuban Sammichs  , I have ever seen or Eaten!!! It tasted fantastic!!!it was so Big I ate half only and took the other half Home!!!

    Folks there are very friendly!!!

Thats It Market is A Baller On a Budget Approved Establishment!

Oh my goodness ha ha ha! I don't usually eat Mexican street food (best tacos are at my casa ;) but had my cousin visiting from Mexico and he was interested in getting a Torta. Apparently I had gone there 5yrs ago (didn't remember.. ).  Walked in, and totally different set up now. The menu was all new and nice and noticed a few more items that weren't there before.
Well that was back in April and this review is when I just went on Sept. 16th for Mexican Independence Day (viva México!) and for yesterday 9/27... I know 2x!
Delish! Torta I had with my cousin was shared, rightly so (it's big) and honestly it's pretty on point with the combination of flavors and layers that make up this Mexican sandwich.
I went last night and decided to try the quesadilla.
And although not on the menu, I asked if they had mushrooms. The food preparer said yes we do :) and the tortillas are handmade fresh for them. They come with sour cream, salsas and lettuce; which I think is a no-no, so I opted out.  It was very delicious!
But I'm warning you,the red salsa is on fire, like fire fire! The green was super nice, spicy but tolerable. Anyways it's a find. The quesadillas are $7, tortas $12 - 14 (chicken milanesa is the fav for me and I suggest it).
They also serve Sopes for $4 (want to try next) and tacos 2 for $6.
Best part is that you can get a drink of any kind and drink it there or take it with you and you pay convenient store prices. Yeays!

They claim they have the largest torta cubana in the US... they might have not bragged about it. The size of the torta was huge... Kitchen opens everyday at 11AM and i stopped by at the right time... Ordered 1 Torta Cubana to go with Beef Milanesa... Watch the video i took when it was on the grill... Diced the sausage, scrambled the egg, grilled the milanesa, put all them on bread, grill bacon a bit, put them on sandwich, put ham, put veggies... and Bammm...

Check how it stacked on my screenshot... 11AM i could only finish the half of it... Tasted excellent... Will come back for more :) My score: 8.5/10 for Torta Cubana...

We stopped in here before for a snack (quesadilla), and watched the miracle of the Cubana sandwich in action. We weren't very hungry then, and had dinner reservations later, but made a mental note.

Recently they made the top 15 sandwiches in the US and we had to go. Delicious!! We got the chicken one, and the chicken texture was kind of rough compared to the rest of the sandwich, but it had a good taste. I would try the beef one next time. They do have a Cubana that has both beef and chicken. It is a very large sandwich so we split one and we were both full. The salsa on top makes it perfect. It's so fun to just watch the lady make the food. She's really amazing. An artist.

Note this is a total hole in the wall so if you're not into that, it's not your thing. It's right off the 24th street Bart station so very convenient.
